The Tongan Beach Resort
The beautiful Tongan Beach Resort is located at the Vava’u Island Group in the village of ‘Utungake. It’s about 30 minutes drive from the airport and 10 minutes from Neiafu, the capital of Vava’u.
We have 12 guest rooms in total, and they’re only meters away from the water’s edge. So a promised that you will have a good views of the golden sandy beach and the crystal clear turquoise water of the Port of Refuge Harbour.
During the whales season, a chance you may see a mother and calf playing in-front of your unit.
Each room has its own covered decked balcony with table and chairs to relax on.
There is safe swimming at all tides. We have a fully licensed restaurant in addition to our Sandpit Bar, library, beach towels, and water taxi service to Neiafu and back.
Getting there
Vava’u is accessible by air from Tongatapu, utilizing Tonga’s domestic airline service, Real Tonga Ltd. The domestic flight is approximately 55 minutes and is scheduled daily, except Sunday(s).
For guest’s convenience, Tongan Beach Resort provides a personal meet and greets service on your arrival at Vava’u Airport.
Another options is the local ferries which operate by Friendly Island Shipping Agen(FISA). About 24hrs from Tongatapu Island.
