Cruise through the western side of Tonga, the spectacular blow holes and witness why is it called the whistle of the chief of Houma. The only blowhole throughout the South Pacific you can view it at the village of Houma. Learn and experience the magnificent of Hina Cave and enjoy a bid of our culture at ‘Oholei Beach Resort.

Your camera will save you moments of truth and your story to what you have witnessed while on our Tour. Sites at Oholei where our culture remains intact since Captain Cook’s passage from Middleburg (Eua Island) on the English Road around Tongatapu. And the fascinating Blow Holes too.

Buffet- Traditional Tongan Umu- Underground oven, including roasted suckling pig on a spit and fresh closed seasonal fruits

SHOPPING

The Oholei Resort and the Blow Holes will provide handicraft and souvenirs. There will also some locally made handicrafts and souvenirs, which can be purchased from the stalls on the wharf at the conclusions of your tour. Please also bring local currency with you. Foreign Currency Exchange will be made available at the wharf.

SPECIAL NOTES

  • Entrance to Oholei beach has stairways of 60steps. It is diverted to a few resting stops-3side stops in zigzag formation. Recommended for physically able people. An alternative route shall be requested for the unable persons.
  • Local buses are used for transportation. These buses are very basic and have neither air conditioning nor public address system.
  • Restroom facilities may be rustic.
  • And lastly, to make your day as enjoyable as possible, please ensure that you wear comfortable flat soled shoes, clothing suited to the weather conditions, a hat, insect repellent and also bring along some sunscreen and bottled water.
